A wedding day reveals itself in fragments. Soft, unguarded, and often found in the spaces between what was planned. A glance held a little longer than expected, the quiet weight of anticipation before everything begins, the way emotion rises and settles without instruction.

Rather than going into a day with a checklist of images I need to create, I move with the day as it unfolds, allowing space for it to breathe and become what it naturally is. I am drawn to what cannot be directed; The gestures that speak without performance, the atmosphere that shifts quietly, the intimacy that exists when no one is thinking about the camera.

My approach is rooted in observation and restraint. Each celebration carries its own rhythm, its own light, its own emotional language. My work is to notice it with intention, to respond with care, and to translate it through an editorial lens that feels refined, honest, and enduring.

What remains is not a sequence of images, but a feeling made visible. A quiet archive of everything that was there, exactly as it was.

Film is at the heart of my work. There’s a quiet honesty to it—the softness, the grain, the way it holds light and memory differently than anything else. I shoot both 35mm and medium format film throughout the day, using each for its own feeling: 35mm for movement and spontaneity, medium format for depth, stillness, and emotion. Film slows everything down in the best way, allowing each frame to feel deliberate and deeply considered.

Super 8 brings motion and nostalgia into your story in a way nothing else can. It feels like memory in motion—imperfect, romantic, and alive. I use Super 8 to capture the atmosphere of your day: the movement, the energy, the fleeting in-between moments you don’t even realize you’ll want to remember. The result is a timeless, cinematic film that feels personal and emotional, like flipping through a home movie of your own love story.

Destination Weddings

Every wedding I photograph begins long before the day itself. I study the venue, the light, the space and the way it moves, learning how an environment holds emotion before anyone arrives to feel it. On the day, I work quietly and with intention. Not directing, not chasing. Instead, observing. Anticipating, building a frame around a moment before it happens. The result is a gallery that feels less like coverage and more like a body of work. Every image considered, every image true. Because of this, I take on a limited number of weddings each year. Each one deserves to be held as fully, and as artfully, as it was lived.

The Approach

I shoot as a hybrid, moving between digital and film depending on what a moment asks for, digital for ease, film for patience, both in service of the same eye. What I'm chasing is presence over performance: light as it actually falls, texture, the space between two people who don't know they're being watched. I embrace the imperfect, the blur, the light that doesn't behave, the moment nobody planned for, because that's where a day tells the truth. My edit follows the same instinct, tones drawn from nature's own palette, soft, earthy, a little textural, closer to how the day looked than how a trend says it should look. Nothing arranged. Nothing overdone. Just a day, held as it was.

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm based between New York City and Buffalo, New York, but i'm honored that my work regularly takes me far beyond both. Whether you're planning a celebration close to home or halfway across the world, I'm always happy to travel wherever your story unfolds.

04. Where are you based?

Absolutely. I love working alongside planners and creative teams who care deeply about crafting an intentional experience for their couples. I believe the best wedding days happen when everyone is working toward the same goal, and I approach every celebration as a collaborative effort. My priority is creating beautiful, honest imagery while respecting the timeline, supporting your vision, and helping the day flow as seamlessly as possible.

03. Do you work with planners?

Always. Travel has long been one of my greatest sources of inspiration, and I truly feel most creative when I'm experiencing somewhere new. I love documenting celebrations in places that feel meaningful to you.

The best part? Travel is already included in my collections, so there are no surprise travel fees to worry about. You can simply focus on celebrating, and I'll meet you there.

02. Will you travel for our wedding?

Wedding and elopement galleries are delivered within 3–5 weeks, while engagement and lifestyle sessions are delivered within 1–2 weeks.

I know how exciting it is to relive these moments, so I believe in delivering your photographs while the memories still feel fresh. Every image is carefully selected and thoughtfully edited, giving you a gallery that feels timeless, cohesive, and true to your day.
